The Department of Anthropology invites graduate students to apply for research and travel funding to be used over the summer of 2021. Please provide requested details for full consideration. NOTE: Funding is only for research that contributes towards the completion of your M.A. or Ph.D. degrees.

Department Graduate Fellowship Application - Spring 2021

Please complete all of the following. Note that by accepting this money, you commit to producing a scholarly outcome (for example, a conference paper or publication).
  • Your advisor will be asked to confirm your proposed research expenditure.

  • When will these funds be required? State clearly a start and an end date.
  • Please provide a brief description of the proposed research for which you are seeking funding. Make sure you clearly state how conducting this research will contribute towards fulfilling requirements for your degree.
  • Please provide details with estimated costs for each item listed, and a TOTAL amount noted at the end, on a new line. Applications with unclear budget information will not be considered.
