Grad Thesis/Dissertation Funding application due
April 17 @ 5:00 pm
Research funding is available to any registered and enrolled MA or PhD graduate student through a competitive process that will make awards of up to $2500. The funds must be used for thesis or dissertation work.
Applicants should submit a 1-2 page proposal outline the scope of the project, a budget detailing how the funds will be spent, and a letter of support from their advisor to Dr. Anderson (firstname.lastname@example.org) and Charlene Weaver (email@example.com). Funds are currently available and an initial proposal deadline is Monday, April 17, by 5pm. Proposals will be reviewed and ranked by the Graduate Committee and final decisions will be voted on by the faculty.
Recipients should work with Pam Bailey to order supplies, make travel arrangements and otherwise coordinate expenditures. This is not a scholarship, but funding for expenses related to a specific project. Funds should be spent by the end of the Fall 2023 semester. Request an exception if you need one.
