My name is Kamar Afra. I am Lebanese and a former Fulbright student. I completed my BS in forensic science back home, my MA in Forensic Anthropology at Texas State University and now starting my Ph.D. journey at UTK. My research interests are related to human identification, humanitarian causes, phenotype-genotype correlations, and forensic facial reconstruction. I have a background in forensic science, archeology, and genetics. I am a baker and a math/stat geek and if you find me jumping off a plane or exploring caves.. don’t be surprised, I love extreme sports!
