Biography

Kate Flor-Stagnato is a Ph.D. Student in biological anthropology and graduate research assistant for the Forensic Anthropology Center. She holds a BA in anthropology from Rutgers University and received her MA degree in anthropology from Texas State University. Her MA research focused on utilizing Structure from Motion photogrammetry to document and measure skeletal human remains in a mass grave. Her research interests include taphonomy, forensic archaeology, GIS, remote sensing methods for forensic anthropology, human rights, mass fatality incidents, and the biological implications of social inequality.
