Application for Progression

Want a Concentration in the Disaster, Displacement & Human Rights?

Undergraduates who have completed the progression to the Anthropology major may wish to apply for the DDHR concentration. If that is you, please fill out the form below.

DDHR Concentration Application - Undergraduates

  • You must complete the progression to the Anthropology major before you can apply for the DDHR concentration.
  • Application for the DDHR Undergraduate Concentration

  • DDHR Concentration Requirements

  • The DDHR concentration requires that you complete the following core courses (9 credits):
    • ANTH 419 Anthropology of Human Rights (offered every fall)
    • ANTH 420 Disasters (offered every spring)
    • ANTH 489 Forensic Science and Human Rights (offered every spring, must complete 419 first)

    Please indicate if you have taken these courses and you grade in each.
  • The DDHR concentration requires that you complete one additional upper-division elective (3-credits). Various electives that satisfy this requirement are offered each semester. Please consult with your major adviser or the DDHR program director when choosing an elective.
