Lua Salomón is an Ecuadorian doctoral student, with a particular interest in paleoenvironmental reconstruction through paleoethnobotany and landscape archaeology, as well as the recognition of trade routes and the use of economic and ritual plants, highlighting the relationship between products and their social development, socio-territorial distribution, and the process from raw material to final form. Her research emphasizes Latin American archaeology, particularly the northwestern coast of South America and the Amazonian foothills in Peru and Ecuador. Additionally, she has conducted architectural and economic analysis of the city of Strasbourg during the 18th century as part of her MSc in Archaeology.
