Margaret Wairimu Kuria is a Kenyan archaeologist with a strong background in human evolution, bioarchaeology, and heritage conservation.

Her research uses zooarchaeological principles and isotope analyses to reconstruct past environments in Northern Kenya and Southern Ethiopia around the Tula wells, and the mobility of the communities around the wells during the time these wells were constructed respectively which scientific research has put in the late Holocene
