Ashe is a proud non-traditional, first-generation scholar who is a descendant of the Lenni Lenape Tribe and Turtle Mountain Ojibwe Tribe. She is a second-year master’s student in biological anthropology, specializing in human biomechanics. Ashe grew up in Higginsville, Missouri, and received her B.A. in anthropology at the University of Central Missouri. Her research interests include comparative anatomy, biomechanics, hominin evolution, and human variation.
