Megan Kleeschulte
PhD Candidate | Biological Anthropology
Megan received her Bachelor of Art’s Degree from Monmouth University with minors in Archaeology, History, and Geographic Information Systems. She completed her master’s degree in Anthropology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2018. Her research examined the implementation of the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act in the Medicolegal System. Her current research continues to explore issues relating to the implementation of NAGPRA as well as working with the medicolegal system to promote NAGPRA education, training, and policy.
Megan serves as a Primary Analyst for forensic casework at the Forensic Anthropology Center (FAC) and a Field Team Leader for the FAC’s short courses for law enforcement and students. Megan also currently works for the Association on American Indian Affairs as the Project Manager for their Exercising Cultural Sovereignty Education Project.
