Matt Wiesehan is a dedicated collections management professional with over a decade of experience in museums and university collections. He specializes in anthropological and archaeological collections management, educational facilitation, and exhibit design. He holds a Master of Arts in Museum Studies from Baylor University as well as a Bachelors of Arts in Anthropology from Baylor. He has worked for many institutions such as the Waco Mammoth National Monument, Mayborn Museum in Waco Texas, the Witte Museum in San Antonio Texas (his home town), and he has lectured at his alma mater.

His expertise includes inventorying and preserving extensive collections, developing engaging educational programs, and curating impactful exhibits. Notable projects he has been a part of is managing the osteological collections at Baylor University and designing a new exhibit space for the Department of Anthropology using said collections. He is passionate about bridging the past and present using collections, working to emphasize accessibility, education, research, and cultural preservation.
